Taylor's Vintage Port 2003 – Duoro, Portugal

Taylors 2003 is one of the most acclaimed Ports of the vintage, and it expresses the typical style and quality for which Taylor's is known. The 2003 vintage was considered an exceptional vintage in the Douro Valley, with perfect climatic conditions resulting in high quality grapes. The colour is deep, dark and almost opaque with an intense ruby ​​red colour, indicating the young and powerful character of the wine.

On the nose, you are greeted by a complex scent with intense aromas of dark berries such as blackberries, blueberries and blackcurrants, along with nuances of spices, vanilla and a touch of tobacco and chocolate.

A great wine to enjoy on its own or as an end to a meal. It pairs perfectly with strong and mature cheeses such as Stilton or Roquefort. The wine is also ideal for pairing with chocolate, especially dark chocolate, or a variety of desserts such as chocolate fondant, berry-based tarts or nougat.
