This Albariño from Castro Martin is everything you would hope for in a glass of Spanish white wine – and more. The wine is aged “sobre lías” (on the lees), which gives it extra depth, a creamy mouthfeel and an elegant lift to the classic fresh style of Rías Baixas.

The nose is filled with crisp citrus notes, green apples and white flowers, with a touch of sea salt and wet stones – like a sea breeze from the coast of Galicia. The taste is intense and well-balanced, with nice acidity, round body and a mineral, almost chalky finish.
