NEBULA – An exclusive orange wine with the fog from the Mosel in the glass

Experience Nebula – an unfiltered orange wine in an absolutely unique class, created exclusively for Sydjysk Vin by winemakers Julia Molitor-Justen and Dr. Daniel Molitor from Stairs N Roses in Kinheim. With only 288 hand-numbered bottles, Nebula is not just a wine, but an experience for the few.

Nebula means "fog" in Latin – and the characteristic autumn fogs of the Mosel Valley are key to the wine's unique expression. This fog captures the wine's terroir and gives character and depth that can be tasted in every glass.

In the glass, Nebula stands out with a slightly hazy orange expression – a clear sign of its unfiltered and natural origin. The aroma is lively and enticing with notes of peach melba and juicy fruits, completely free of heavy oak tones, as the wine is aged exclusively in steel tanks.

The taste is fresh and crisp, carried by the texture of the skin contact and a nice spicy finish. It is a wine with character and bite – perfect for everything from protein salads, vegetarian dishes and light meat dishes.

A rare grape – an even rarer wine:
Nebula is made from the unusual Roter Müller-Thurgau grape, a green grape with a beautiful reddish skin. The grapes come from the historic Römerhang field near Kinheim and have undergone a three-week fermentation with the skins – without filtration, sweetening or fining.

An authentic orange wine with nerve, fruit and complexity – created with love, precision and respect for nature. Be part of something very special.

Nebula – only 288 bottles. When it's gone, it's gone.

Orange wine??

Orange wine refers to a white wine that has been aged on or in contact with the skins of the grapes for a shorter or longer period of time. This gives the wine a more complex flavor profile, which can include additional tannin, deeper color, and a slight bitterness derived from the skins. This technique is often seen in natural wine production, where the skins contribute to the texture and character of the wine. Although more common in red wines, white wines with skin contact can offer an exciting mix of fruity and herbaceous notes that differ from traditional, lighter and fresher white wines.
