Once again, winemaker Ron Sanchez has worked his magic and we love this wine! As it entered the glass, an insanely good aroma spread. Home to some of the earliest plantings of big red varieties in Oregon, the Columbia Gorge AVA is home to vineyards that produce distinctly bright, fruity, yet elegant and sophisticated wines. The 2011 Columbia Gorge Blended Red is the perfect introduction to Oregon's signature style of big red wines.

The wine presents a harmonious and complex flavour profile. The wine has deep notes of dark berries such as blackcurrant, blackberry and cherry, combined with hints of spice, chocolate and vanilla. There are also subtle earthy and leathery undertones, which add depth and complexity. The tannins are well integrated and provide a soft but structured finish.
