OBR - Rogue River Syrah 2013 – Oregon, USA

It is simply a super delicious wine that meanders around in the mouth. The nose is powerful and aromatic with intense aromas of dark fruits, black pepper, smoke and leather. There are also subtle hints of violets and a light minerality that adds an extra dimension to the complexity of the wine.

This Syrah is versatile and perfect for hearty dishes. It is ideal with red meats such as grilled steak, leg of lamb and game dishes. It can also be enjoyed with hearty stews, barbecue, and smoked or spicy dishes. The wine is also a good choice for aged cheeses and dark chocolate-based desserts.
