Economirat Lind Blanc de Noir Castanea Selection Noir 2019

Ökonomirat Lind Blanc de Noir Castanea Selection Noir is an exciting wine made from the juice of red grapes. Aged in chestnut casks. Incredibly beautiful pale salmon colored wine with a lovely taste of grapes, apples, gooseberries and a tiny bit of honey, acacia and caramel.
The wine has a bit of sweetness and is therefore suitable as a cozy wine, for snacks or for light lunch dishes, salads etc.

The term Blanc de Noir is French and means white of blacks. It is used especially in Champagne for a wine that is made only from the blue grape Pinot Noir, but is nevertheless white. To prevent the wine from becoming coloured, the skins are quickly removed from the must.
The content of a grape is always light (white). This wine is made from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier and aged in barrels made from chestnut trees from the forests of the Palatinate, hence the beautiful name.. Ökonomirat Lind has been running their winery organically since 1985!
