This Silvaner from Rudolf May demonstrates the winemaker's uncompromising quality and deep understanding of terroir. The grapes come from old vines, over 50 years old, from the heart of Langenberg - a field known for its chalky soil and unique microclimate.

After an 18-hour maceration, the must was pressed and fermented spontaneously in wooden barrels for 9 months, adding complexity and textural depth to the wine. The result is a cool, mineral white wine with serious structure and a long, persistent finish.

The aroma profile is characterized by freshness with clear notes of Amalfi lemons and grapefruit, supported by a clean and sharp acidity. The wine combines finesse with intensity and is an excellent example of classic German Silvaner at the top.
