Vignobles Raguenot - Symposium Supérieur 2020 – Bordeaux, France

A superb Bordeaux Supérieur with character and finesse! Symposium from Vignobles Raguenot is an excellent example of classic Bordeaux craftsmanship, where structure and elegance go hand in hand. On the nose, you are greeted by a complex and inviting aroma with notes of tobacco, cocoa and delicate red fruit. The taste follows with a straight and balanced body, which is rounded off softly and harmoniously.

The wine is made from 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Carménère and 10% Malbec – the grapes are hand-sorted and undergo 15–25 days of maceration. The wine is then aged for 6 months in a combination of new and used oak barrels (50/50), which gives depth without overpowering the fruit.

A classic, yet accessible Bordeaux with lots of character. Comes in an original wooden box (OWC) – perfect for the cellar or as a gift.
